The Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation

The Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation was established on January 31, 2003 by the decision of the I First All-Russia Congress of Lawyers. The RF Federal Chamber of Lawyers relies upon compliance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, “Non-profit organizations” federal law, “Advocacy in the RF” federal law and the RF Federal Chamber of Lawyers statute approved by the I First All-Russia Congress of Lawyers and unites the 83 chambers of lawyers of the federal subjects of the Russian Federation on the basis of compulsory membership. Every chamber of the federal subject in its turn unites all the lawyers residing in the respective federal region.

The RF Federal Chamber of Lawyers coordinates the activities of the lawyers’ chambers of the RF subjects, provides a high level of the legal assistance rendered by lawyers, and represents the interests of the lawyers and lawyers’ chambers in the government agencies of the RF.

Decisions of the RF Federal Chamber of Lawyers and its bodies are compulsory for all the lawyers’ chambers, bar associations and bars. The Federal Chamber of Lawyers is based on public law principles, self-administration, legal equality, ideals of law and justice and the best traditions of the Russian advocacy.

The Russian Corporate Counsel Association (RCCA)

Association of Russian Lawyers is an All-Russian non-governmental organization which brings together practicing lawyers, academics, government representatives and public persons.

Competition and Law Journal

Thanks to the initiative of Statut legal publishing house and Pepeliaev Group law firm, it has been three years since a printed journal for those who are interested in competition issues started to be published. This journal is still the only one of its kind.
